Not too long ago, I woke up and first thing came across my mind was nothing but simply long thought of existence. Less than a moment ago, I was dreaming, fully submerged into my own mini world of consciousness, this question appears to me often "What is this?" The idea of living, breathing, be able to think and reacts, to eat, to perform mundane routine we do daily. What does all that mean? To die and become a tasty worm meal. It doesn't sum it up, as my previous blog, I stated that I do not believe in religion and what it has to offer is a strange thought. How does this place, we call it to be "reality" but what is reality? How can we tell the difference from our dream and the moment we wake up.
Earlier today, I watched a movie, "The Others" it was marvelous and intriguing. It bring a point to my question, can we exist amongst others without recognizing them? Clearly, the answer is no. As we seeing the world has to come, as of late, we worry over trifle material and it amaze me how can old thoughts be so powerful, as if we need someone else to tell us what to think instead of us actual thinking for ourselves. I often question things around me not only the object we see but also thoughts that we share as human. Meme, is a fairly new idea and is starting to have its effects around the scientific community, it brings strong new perspective how things actually works. Easily as gossip works, it spread throughout people like a wildfire, the idea of meme is ability to educate subconscious knowledge of one or more thing by action and word of mouth. Often not directly but it drift around. If one to analyze it closely, it will notice the pattern. For example, recent popular trend is, I believe they are called "silly bandz" a rubber band that takes up a shape of object, it doesn't stretch out or lose its shape after wearing. Nobody told anybody that it will be popular but yet it is. That's what meme is.
To be able to think is a beautiful gift.
To understand, one need open its mind.
Not needlessly accepts its objective.
