Religions?

Where will I begins on this most controversial topic of all time, religion.

Before World War I, pretty much every war is based on religion. As such which is one right and forcing others to follow the same order. What bothers me the most are how people can be so blind and keeping going on. Believing there's life after death if you like, when there are nothing after death. There's only two opposing force in existence. Life and Death.

Why do people needs to over complicate the simplicity, without religion extremists, there wouldn't be so many people suffering. If religions in general meant to do us good, there should be no suffering nor pain. Why believe in a religion where it present empty promises and imaginative peace when it only bring pain and suffering. Maybe it doesn't to you, but it certainly does to others.

Don't underestimate me, I'm in no position to tell you what to believe in. This is what I believe.

We, human, has need to observe the "greater good" as seeing, we are advanced species on Earth. My best guess why religion originated in first place, long time ago, that is. To overcome unknown and fear of death. Imagine a life after death, to revive, to continue what you have left off, are definitely nice thought. Meeting someone who you have lost in life, to share love or more.

Desires usually overtake the best of us, we usually focus on what we want not need. Given the chance, we will pursue what we want that obstruct the reality of life. As moment we are born, the moment we start dying. Whether slowly or fast, we struggle to grasp the concept of our purpose on the Earth, we often face the questions such as "Are we alone?" "Are there something out there?" "Is there life after death?" and more, however, I cannot answer of them. I, too, wonder.

My biggest question poses the thought of existence, do we truly exist? What is existence? We are nothing but an insignificant unmeasurable matter in everything. What we do, doesn't matter. Everything we created, destroyed, thought of, wished, doesn't matter. Yet we fuss over which religion is right, Heaven, Hell, the 7 virgins, reincarnation, Paradise, and more. I refuse to believe a fairy tale, given that science do also makes mistake, the point of science is to learn and grows from it.

What saddens me the most, how we, the humans, are so self centered, oblivious to everything else. Nothing else matters to us, unless they have purpose for us, we are so attached to worldly matter. Clothes, Money, Technology, and basically everything, if you took everything that is precious to a man, how will he survive. We have become so dependent on what we created.

We, have become a prisoner of our society. Chained and a slave to what we care the most, useless materials. Throw a man in wilderness, watch him trying to survive, he probably will and he probably won't. It's just matter of when his natural instinct buried inside him wakes up.

Now, what created us, mankind, I do not know. But I do know this, religion bullshit needs to stop, cornering people forcing feed your deity won't help anything but it's a sure way to start demolish ourselves.

I often hear that religion's sole purpose is to create a somewhat peace paradise, and also to "help" or "save" others from condemning themselves to eternal suffering. But this present a problem, if each religions are out there to save others... how will we save ourselves from warpath that the religions may leave behind trying to save other determined religious person believing that their religion is the right one.

Which brings me to understanding of religions overall, it is destined to destroy. The good has its bad growing within. In other word, we are at war with ourselves. From the beginning we created religion to assuage our fear of death and unknown to this weapon to destroy of our own existence.

This is why, I don't believe religions. This is what it is, we live, we die. Simplicity.
Believe what you want to believe.

do what you like.
like what you do.

  1. I'm willing to throw it all aside! oh this one will stop all fighting, this and that about who's god is real and who's is fake and what not? obviously there is a god but who?! It is the creator of life, the earth, and the galaxy he,or she is not limited to one name, but all names or none. if you say one religion is better, than an other you will get no where, and start a bloody war, but if you switch it to, a "god"? it gets people thinking what god is he speaking of my god or another?! i will tell the people lets not fight, nor do harm, but to rejoice believing in what you believe. Buddhist believe in many gods because i think they believe that one single god couldn't have created it all same. yet if you limit to a god and let the people believe in what they want? at the end he/she who is right will laugh last! instead of my god is better and your god is fake type bull shit cuz who are you to tell people that their god is fake are you the judge?! if so yee is doomed! gods want to make people happy and love each other so believe who you want? at the end you'll find out who wins but stop fighting and please your god ;)
but he/or she who believes in one god and not judge shall be rewarded clearly DUH! end communition pray for me~ St. Nicolas
